Located in downtown Montreal, Quebec CANADA, ParaMedia Studios offers world-class PROTOOLS HD3 / AVID HD based digital audio recording and post-production services at affordable rates. Our staff engineers and Producers all have many years of experience in the music, film, television, video game and radio industries.

Our recording studio in Montreal offers several custom designed acoustically accurate live and dead rooms, superb isolation areas, a great Digidesign 24 fader automated mixing board, a huge array of plug-ins and samples, and a team of extremely experienced engineers and producers.

We have worked on many top quality projects ranging from soundtracks and voice-overs/dubbing for feature films and television shows to award winning video game soundtracks, documentaries, tv commercials, 3D animation, corporate and music videos, and of course a vast number of discs including Rock, Pop, Folk, Swing, Blues, Jazz, Chamber Music, Opera, Hip-Hop, Funk, R & B, Folk, Punk, Soul, House, Techno and Instrumental groups. 

ParaMedia's recording studios offer a vast array of gear in a unique acoustically designed environment. We offer the highest quality digital audio recording capabilities and a unique selection of gear and acoustic environments.

We have well over 150 rare and vintage microphones from Neumann, Schoeps, RCA, AEA, Altec, AKG, Sennheiser, Oktava, Pearl, B&K, ElectroVoice, Lomo, Rode, B&O, Crown, Beyer Dynamic, Shure, Countryman, Werner, Trix, Red, and many more. Our mic preamps include Avalon 737sp (2), Millennia Media HVD3 (4 channels), Millennia Media STT1 Origin (2), Mindprint Dual Tube Channel, SSL, LA Audio, Urei, Focusrite, Neve, Studer and others.

Our extremely accurate stereo and 5.1 surround sound monitor systems are based around speakers by Dynaudio, Genelec, Yamaha NS10m, Tannoy PBM and others. We also offer racks and racks of vintage tube and solid state outboard gear, a set of amazing Yamaha custom drums, an antique Heintzman square grand piano, acoustic guitars, electric guitars, bass guitars, synths, samplers and more.

Our team offers professional script translation and transcription, Protools HD based digital audio recording, sound effects editing, voice-over recording with or without SMPTE sync video display and projection systems, music video & corporate video production, sub-titling, dubbing, AVID video editing, mixing in both stereo and 5.1, sound design, production, post-production and composition services. Producers, voice artists, foley artists, and session musicians are available at reasonable rates, upon request. Rates starting below  $75.00 per hour plus taxes including a master engineer.
